WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO OPEN YOUR OWN STORE?
The idea was to create a place that brings together everything a man needs on a daily basis in a pleasurable surrounding with good atmosphere. Hence we are offering a very diverse product portfolio: delicatessen, spirits, ready to wear, accessories, care products, shoes, interior decoration etc. A warm welcome and a selection of additional services are part of our brand to make our clients feel comfortable at la Garçonnière: a coffee bar, a barber and many additional events such as wine tastings, etc.
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE STORE LOCATION AND ITS HISTORY?
La Garçonnière is located in the Sentier district of Paris, formerly the most lively district in the world of textiles! Today, la Garçonnière is located under the most beautiful vertical garden in Paris: more than 400 plant species spread over 40m height.
WHAT ARE YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES?
To spread to word about our original concept to a greater number of people, to continue to satisfy our clients with a regular renewal of our offer and to help establish brand new labels amongst our audience.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR CUSTOMERS? WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
Our customers seek originality as well as the discovery of a new brand and its history or a new material. These people are very diverse: some clients are the thirty-year-old like me, some are more like my father, yet some are our women who come to find our future gifts.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH A BAG OF OURS?
