QWSTION HOUSE, SEEFELD

Faced with the need for a new warehouse, we asked ourselves how we could apply the same principles of sustainability and efficient resource use that inform the design of our bags to an architectural brief.
The answer led our creative team, together with Seefeld architect Michael Sailer, to design and build QWSTION House. Constructed completely from local pine, the building is energy self-sufficient thanks to a 100m2 integrated photovoltaic system, geothermal energy use and heating, and window and insulation systems designed to conserve heat and power.
Essentialist, functional and built to last, QWSTION House serves multiple purposes: as a storehouse, a photo studio – where we shot the campaign for the Small Tote in Raw Natural – and a space for gatherings. The House was awarded a Tiroler Holzbaupreis 2019. Take a look inside here.
