Regina about her Zip Pack
OUR CONNECTION TO REGINA RUEFENACHT
Regina Ruefenacht – friend of our Supply Chain Manager Marianne, who notes:
“My good friend Regina is Head of Sales at Linck Keramik, a Bernese ceramic brand which has its roots in the 30s. Simplicity and complexity are always combined in the timeless collections of Linck, making any single product a piece of art. Whether glazed in black, white or elected pastels, every piece is a statement for its own. For me, Regina matches the brand’s personality perfectly. Her own style is temptingly simple, laid back and always on point! She inspires me not only due to her intuition for good design but also for her social, open minded, and very friendly personality.”
WHAT LED YOU TO WHAT YOU DO TODAY?
My parents' house was always filled with piles of great magazines I could spend hours immersed in. They awakened my interest in furnishings, design and aesthetics. From that point onwards, I must have redecorated and turned my room upside down once a month. The joys of discovering history, tradition, diversity and provenance developed during my travels.
WHAT DO YOU CARE ABOUT IN LIFE?
Family, friends, proximity and exchange with people: these are my inspirations. Honesty, diversity, longevity, loyalty, freedom.
HOW DO YOU ADDRESS THESE WITH YOUR WORK?
During my time at Teo Jakob I was finally allowed to try my hand at furnishing! That's when my friendship with Annet Berger and my current collaboration with Linck Keramik came about. Here, tradition, history, design, durability, craftsmanship, strong design and friendship come together.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN THE THINGS YOU BUY?
Provenance, workmanship, and materials. While I'm interested in trends, I wouldn't buy something just because it's trendy.
