I love things which can be repaired. I’m very interested in where things come from and how they are made, you must question the process behind a product.

WHAT LED YOU TO YOUR CURRENT WORK?
My father was an architect, and I was fascinated by his work already as a child. My passion for architecture and design was further developed during the time I spent studying in Italy.
WHAT DO YOU CARE ABOUT IN LIFE?
In my opinion, close friends and family bring the most value in life. I’m convinced that we should spend our time well and live consciously. I care about what products I consume, what I eat and how I travel.

HOW DO YOU ADDRESS THIS IN YOUR WORK?
I try to bring something purposeful into this world. My goal is to create long lasting and timeless products and spaces. I love to use raw, local and natural materials. My design language is clear and subtle.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN YOU BUY THINGS?
I love things which can be repaired. I’m very interested in where things come from and how they are made. To consume consciously you must question the process behind a product. The lifetime of a product is as important as the energy you need to produce it. Where and how is it made? Are people paid fairly? What happens to it it end of its life?
HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR BANANATEX ROLL PACK?
The immaculate design concept is evident and the bag is manufactured by hand with a lot of care and knowledge, it feels robust and durable yet sophisticated at the same time. It’s absolutely fascinating what kind of fibers can be used for fabric production. For me it's important to know that no chemicals were added, so I like that the material is natural.
