MAE CHAIR
Our belief in the potential of Bananatex® to set a new standard for technical fabrics led us to make it open source: Available to every designer, company and producer for whom it could be useful. The fabric’s sturdy yet supple properties lend it a wide range of applications, from automotive to fashion and furniture, and the global interest in Bananatex® has exceeded our expectations. We’re delighted to see the first new product (independent of QWSTION) made from Bananatex® – one which shares our design philosophy: Modular, essentialist and thoughtfully constructed.
Meet the MAE Chair, a BAZAR NOIR Edition reated in collaboration with German design studio PALAIUS. Handmade in Europe using traditional craft techniques, MAE sets a gently curving seat made from Bananatex® within an elegant steel frame.
